PRODUCTIVE = ME!

My Saturday has been a very productive day for me! I got busy with work last week and I have a very challenging assignment to do, that’s why I have to be as productive as possible. I have to. :)

Saturday Morning:
I went to LPU-L to get my thesis from the department’s secretary. She was not there anymore when I came, but she left the thesis on top of her table. Thanks to our dearest ms. Laika! Rendell went there also to check his grades, bur Ms. Laika nga is not there anymore kaya wit si mother sa kanyang misyon. So thesis, CHECK!

Saturday Noon up to early afternoon:
To have some fun, Rendell and I went to the mall and bought make-ups. Kikay thing, you know. :)  Then we went to a coffee shop to of course have a coffee.
So coffee date with Rendell, CHECK!

Saturday Late afternoon:
After our coffee date, Rendell went home while I meet my highschool friends to have merienda date. I missed all of them so much! We were all the same old friends with a different level of maturity this time.
So high school get-together, CHECK!

Satuday Night:
After meeting my friends, it’s my Kevin’s time naman. We last saw each other last 2 weeks, so I badly miss him na. There, we have dinner and movie date and lots of catching up. How happy I am being with him, as always.
So dinner and movie date with Kevin, CHEEEEEECK!

O sinong productive?! Hahaha! :D This is indeed a day well spent! Big thanks to all the people I’ve been with.

Living in the corporate world of Leo Burnett

October 25, 2011, Tuesday. While some of our classmates are enjoying their vacation, I together with Rendell and ate Nikki were excited for our first day as interns in Leo Burnett Philippines. We call our team, Leo’s Angels. Hahaha!

Our first day is indeed a very good day! Everything’s new! New environment, new way of living. The fact that we’re all away from our home made us all independent. Since we’re not familiar with Makati, we took taxi for us to reached our office smoothly. Janan! We were 30minutes ahead of our call time! What a good start, Leo’s angels! Haha! We were introduced to the employees and to our bosses. Exciting! And there, our busy life as interns started.

Based on what I experienced from our first week as interns, It was really kinda hard to adjust especially with the other employees. Many are really nice and there are few who’s not. Anyways, I expected that. Some are easy to get along with while some are snob. We we’re the youngest group of people there that’s why there is a difference in terms of maturity. As much as possible, I wanted all of the people in our department to be close with me. But I know that’s something impossible. Haha! Nevertheless, I am giving in my super bestest effort to make new friends there. Hopefully. :)

Now that I realized that real world is far different from the real world that I imagined. It’s a lot complicated. There’s something more in the so-called real world. In a simple way that people dresses makes a difference. The way they carry themselves with so much confidence makes a difference. The way they speak makes a difference. They don’t do trash talks, most of the time what I heard from the employees in Leo Burnett is all about serious matters, matured matters. Their sense of humor is also different, a lot different.
Real world is more on how can someone control himself/herself and be able to stand despite the changes and influence that go along your way. It’s more being practical. It’s more on being competitive. It’s more on material things (that’s what I noticed), and if not for the passion, it’s for the money. Well, like what I’ve mentioned, real world is more than this. A lot more than this.

Here’s our picture during our first day in work:

So far, I am enjoying my stay in Leo Burnett. Leggo! :D

Me: Aww. :))))))))))))))))

Him: It makes sense diba.

Me: :))))))))))

--- Okaaaaaaaaay! :DDD Kulitan lang pero masama na ko sa kilig. Hahaha!

Unkaboggable Madlang people!

Since last year, we really wanted to have a chance to visit and experience the Showtime fever. Last month, our AB Comm babies from first year and second year had a chance to visit Showtime, as a part of their class in Broadcasting and Intro to Mass Comm. Inggit much kaming mga ates at kuyas.

Just last October 10, 2011, we, the seniors, together with the juniors had a tour in ABS-CBN and Showtime. It’s the first time for the juniors to have a studio tour around ABS-CBN. Seniors had a studio tour when we were in first year. Nevertheless, we were all excited at that time. It’s seems like it’s everybody’s first time. Hahaha!

Our call time then is 4:30 am. Poor Marielle woke up by 5am! So she was the very late comer at that time. We were almost at the Turbina exit when Marielle arrived with her messy hair and pale lips. Whew!

Here are some of the pictures during the studio tour: (Credits to Pamela, Patricia, Jonas and Kreng)

After the studio tour, it’s time for the much awaited event! It’s Showtimeeeee! Before the program started, we first had a rehearsal for the opening dance of the madlang people together with the hosts. It’s as if we’re not practicing, for we all enjoyed it. Iba nga ang energy ng mga madlang people! I liked it! Then, the program started. Dahil graduating kaming mga seniors, hindi naman syempre kami papayag na wala kaming pagpapa-pampam doon. We were the most energetic and active madlang people at that time. Jerome got a chance to do and show his sample! And chala, 4700php! Taraaaay! :D Among all the celebrities we’ve seen there, it’s Vhong Navarro who got my full attention! He’s definitely cool, dude! Hahaha! He looks typical on TV but goodness, he terribly looks awesome. The entire Showtime experience is really unkaboggable! Nothing compares! From the energy up to the happiness, it’s full blast! No wonder we’re all drained after the program. Everybody’s tired and hungry.

Here are some the unkaboggable pictures during Showtime:(Credits to Pamela, Patricia, Jonas and Kreng)

After Showtime, we had our lunch first before the next beat. It was in the National Printing Office. Darn! I think, 70% of our time and energy were spent on walking. It was really big. Since it’s a printing office, what we saw there were merely tons papers and printers. The place and the equipment there are old and some are almost outdated. I honestly think that NPO needs a major revision and renovation.

After the NPO invasion, we were all really drained. Define zero. Some were sleeping while we’re on the bus going home. But after we get some rest and food, ayan, bida na naman kaming mga seniors, di na naman mapigil ang mga bibig. There I realized na bibo lahat talaga kami sa pagkkwentuhan.

Yown!

Pilik-mata!

Pilik-mata is the word for today. Hahaha! The story behind this is purely funny! Hahaha! All I can is say is that, Filipinos are really creative. They make use of their creative minds to invent or to come up with something new that will benefit them. Hahaha! Sounds serious? Bit it's not! Definitely not! Hahahaha!

We still have few minutes left before the class finally ends. So while waiting we had a chance to talk and make use of the remaining time for chismisan, asaran at puro kalokohan. We were like talking about the pilik-mata. Hahaha! Then , Jerome open up about the issue between Cathy and Lhiez. They had misunderstanding before. But now, we all know na it's more on the ilangan na lang, no hard feelings or tampo. So the class then decided to make a way para maging okay sila, of course with the help of our very loving and very supportive Ms. Phlor. Ayun, nagkabati sila. At kami, nambu-bully lang sa gilid while shouting, "Pilik-mata na yan! Pilik-mata na yan!" Hahaha!  Everybody were happy and teary-eyed because they are finally okay, again. Thanks to Ms. Phlor!

Lhiez and Cathy habang pinagbabati ni Ms. Phlor. Habang nasigaw kami ng "Pilik-mata na yan!" :D

Lhiez, Ms. Phlor and Cathy with the paparazzi girls :D

Pilik-mata made us all laugh! But at the end of the day, true friendship still became the reason of everybody's happiness. Sis na ulit. Makaka-fiesta na! Happy na!

PS. Binigo na naman ako ng camera ko, so sorry sa poor quality na images :D

One sweet dad! :)

10 08 11. Saturday. Rainy.

I saw this on top of our table when I got home. Well it was obviously came from my dad. Ang sweet lang! This is just one way of showing how much he misses us. Kilig! I am hoping to see him on Tuesday! :)

There is No Other Woman better than Us! :D

Despite my busy schedule, I find time to make a day for my best girlfriend, Alexa. She’s lucky because it’s already their sembreak in UP. She has now time to mingle with friends and to have a trip. While I have to wait for 3 long weeks before I can finally say Hi to vacation.

We watched No Other Woman. We waited for a week before we decided to watch it. Blockbuster kasi ang viewers sa movie house. It’s the second week of the movie and blockbuster pa din sya. We had to eat first because we still have more time before the movie starts. We’ve seen some of our batchmates in St. John. The movie was great and the characters I must say gave their very best efforts to make the movie worth watching. Ang se-sexy! :D Lex and I were almost teary-eyed in some of the scenes. We’re girls that’s why we’re affected, I guess.

Immediately after the movie, just when the CBB started, we hurriedly run to the ladies room. We were like in an emergency. I almost slipped. Hahahaha! Some people looked at us and wonder why we’re running. Hahahaha! Well, we ran because we wanted to be the first in the C.R. Yun laang :p

After the movie, we went to Josan’s place. We talked as matured ones, infairness :D We’re really not kids anymore. After that, Lex and I decided to roam around the mall. Just when the SM was about to close, we decided to part our ways.

My day ended well. As usual, I had fun. I hope there will be next time, soon. My Alexa plus a good movie equals havey! :DD

:D

Walter Mart Makiling A.K.A Walter Mart Lyceum

Lyceum is a campus near the National Hi-way and just in front of an industrial park. It took 15-30 minutes before you reached the nearest mall. But not anymore, ‘cause Walter Mart Makiling is now here! :D

As expected, it is not as big as any other mall. It has several food chains and other establishments and it has no movie house. But it is okay, it became a good place to hang out when Lyceans have a long vacant time. It is also a good place when Lyceans are already ‘umay’ of what the cafeteria offers. And it is a good place when Lyceans have to buy school materials and stuff. O diba, pang Lyceans talaga ang datingan! :D

Making the most out of our last sem :D

I realized that we already have 2 weeks in school. Our last sem in school will end in two weeks. Next semester will be our internship so we will not be in school anymore. Now that I realized that I’m not yet ready. Not at all. Kasi bombarded pa sa projects! Hahaha! :D

Though we have many projects na naka-line up and we have limited time, still we make sure that each of our projects will serve as bonding time for us. And also time for us to enjoy for a while.

We had our shooting in San Luis, Batangas for our Magazine program in TV Productions. Lucky us! San Luis, Batangas is such a good place with good and hospitable people. Residents there are such angels sent from above. That’s how good they are. :)

Here are the pictures during our shooting in San Luis Batangas:

With good place like this, sino ba naming hindi mage-enjoy diba. :) At sino ba naming hindi mage-enjoy kung ang babait ng mga tao doon. Hay, babalik ako San Luis!  :D
