Superb Weekend!

WARNING! THIS IS A LONG ENTRY.

I personally believe that money can’t buy real happiness. I worked hard (okay, not so hard) to support my daily needs and to tolerate my selfish unnecessary expenses, but that doesn’t give me the satisfaction and contentment in life. A part of me envy those people who have luxury of time to do the activities they wanted to do, like reading, hanging out with friends, staying late just to watch their favorite TV shows, going on a date with loved ones, or even sleeping. (Though I don’t have any regrets on what God blessed me to have) And to those people who have to work 8hours or more just like me in everyday of their lives, a long weekend is something we always look forward. Happiness that money can’t buy. So, as I have my long weekend, this is how my rest days turned out to be a blast!

Friday | Christian Grey
I spent my first rest day reading Fifty Shades Darker. I’m in the book 2, and I’m hook by the way El James gives life to Christian Grey. I can’t resist not to read the book because it gets more exciting as you read one chapter to another. I’m not yet finish reading book 2 because I have to spend the night at Maligaya’s residence for tomorrow’s activity.

Saturday | SponsoRun Mo 2 Fun Run
My second time in joining a fun activity like this still feels like the first. Another set of good experiences, new environment, new set of co-runners, and newly found friends. This is such an epic day. I’m with my fun runner friends Kreng, Monica and Ranell. Too bad the working boy Jonas wasn’t able to come with us, as well as Kevin. Anyway, it was a raining day before the schedule of the fun run. But thankfully, Mr. Sun is up on the day of the run. The run starts at 5:30am, we arrived 6:10am. LATE COMERS indeed! Luckily, they let us to run despite our tardiness. 5K baby! It’s no joke. Unlike in BGC, our run in Nuvali is a bit easier. The roads are broad and straight making us to run smoothly. Marshalls were all polite and courteous in greeting all the runners. Very supportive ha. After the run, we went to Paseo to treat ourselves with delicious and mouth-watering pizza.

Just after the tiring fun run activity, we went to SM Calamba to watch a movie. Can’t believe we still have the energy for a movie date. We watched This Guy’s in Love With You Mare, a rom-com movie that gave me so much expectations. In a scale of 10, I gave a 5, not so high, not so low. Just right. (Okay, so much of being a movie critic) :-)

Our souvenir!

After the movie date, and my dates went home, I came to meet my mom and treat her for merienda. Kwento here and there. I’m so proud that I still have the energy! Whew!

You guys will not believe it, but after the fun run, the movie date and merienda date, I still have tons of energy to meet my high school friends for a get-together. Though I can’t deny that my body is aching, literally aching.  I’m a superwoman! Hahaha!

Do you think that’s the end of my day? Nah. Nah.

After our guy friends left us, I and the rest of the girls went to our house to chit chat. The never ending bonding.  Alexa and Rochelle decided to stay over the night while Nona, Krizia, and Faith decided to go home.

Che, Alexa and I watched movie and stayed awake until 3am. And yes, finally, I called it a day.

Sunday | A Secret Affair
A boring Sunday welcomes us, so as we wanted to make the most of my last rest day, we decided to watch Anne Curtis’ film, A Secret Affair. Actually, there’s a story behind our decision to watch the movie. Let’s just say that the showing of the movie is very timely, right Rochelle? Just kidding. Rochelle along with Archelle join us in watching ASA.

So here goes the movie critic again. :-) In a scale of 10, I gave the movie a score of 8. As I expect that this one is going to be another No-Other-Woman type of movie, it gives me a leap that this is way different from N.O.W. The camera techniques that were used, the script, the actors and even the concept deserve an 8-point score. Good job! The lines are cuteee and of course, Anne is exceptional.

"Yun nga yung sayang eh. I know the love is there pero wala na yung trust. And as much as I would like to fix this, the damage has been done."

And tada, that’s how I spent my long weekend! Superb isn’t it? Can’t wait for another long weekend in the next 3 days! Yeyyyy!

Meet baby Stephen Rob

Being a mother is one of the most rewarding jobs on earth and also one of the most challenging.   - Debra Gilbert Rosenberg

Finally, after nine months of waiting, my dear Yvonne finally gave birth to a healthy and super cute baby boy! He was named Stephen Rob Prudende, baby Rob for short.

Say hi to this cuteee little boy!
Stephen Rob Prudente
6.8 lbs.
 * Thank you for this photo Nona!*
With his looks, no wonder he got it all from his dad. Tisoy na tisoy! Kreng, Nona and I are there during her delivery. We panicked when we heard the him crying inside the the DR. Sort of relief and excitement. We're almost teary-eyed when we finally saw him in the nursery room. He's so cute and so charming. He's an angel in our eyes.

Our batch is really glad for the coming of this angel. He's the second, the first is baby Nikko. Hope we can see baby Nikko too. I bet it's cute if they can be playmates!

Congratulations to the new mom! You made it, painfully but worth it! I'm a proud friend and a proud tita! We love you both!

Sixteenth | Sixty-sixth

I owe you a lot of love letters. I know hand-written love letters are way better than this, but at some point, I’d like to share to everyone how someone like you made up a part of who I am today.

Exactly five and a half years , I made one of the best decisions in my life. And to tell you honestly, right at this very moment, I still can’t believe what you do to me that make me stay with you all these years. You are such an amazing person.

Let me say sorry for all the pain I’ve caused you. I know it’s not easy to understand me, but you never fail to understand. I may not understand you most of the times, but one thing I learned from you is to never get tired of trying. I will never get tired of understanding you.
Let’s not giving up. I know we’ll come a long way, and our love story doesn’t have to end this way.

I am always in need of you, and I know you feel the same way. Whatever changes that will come, let there be, let it happen. Let’s not be afraid to embrace the growth that we have to face. Just like when you asked me on a word that best that describes our relationship, I’ll still answer the same: we’re growing. Let’s keep on growing, because that’s how God destined us to be, to grow with each other.

I’m still the same person you love 5 and a half years ago, it’s just I got even prettier and I just turned out to be a full blown woman, far from the teeny-bopper girl I was before. Hahaha! But seriously, that’s one thing I wanted you to always remember, that I’m still the woman who love and care for you 5 and a half years ago. That I’m still the woman who needs you.

66th month and way more to go! I have always loved you. I’m still and I’ll always be. Thanks for giving me the best friendship and best partnership ever! Team mates, right?

I love you! :-)

P.S
Readers, please bear this mushy thingy. This is not the me-type. Well, it can just be a proof of what true love can do to a person. Am I right? Apir!

My Fifth October 16 with you! Ayos!

This is for you, Goldilocks! ;-)

I have a friend whose name is FAITH. Her name perfectly fits to her, for she is such a good and wonderful person, inside and out.

Her simplicity and her genuine smile make her even more beautiful.

We somewhat have similarities which I find cute. No wonder we're friends. ;-) We both have curly hairs, hers is soft and as curly as goldilocks, while mine's uhm, whatever! Hahaha! We both love Twilight Saga. Who wouldn't love them, anyways? And, we both like Ate Jennlou! I guess we both have the 'tomboy-ish' personality. Hahaha!

And on her special day, this blog entry serves as a gift. I hope this will make her happy.

So Faith,
Happiest birthday to you! May you have many many more birthdays to come! As you face another year, I hope you open yourself to changes, positive changes that can make you a better person. I always wish for your happiness, I mean, real happiness. You deserve to be happier. Don't focus on those people who left you, but be thankful and blessed for you have so many true friends that will surely stick with you through ups and downs. Learn to smile and love again. You deserve it! You are worth it of all God's blessings. You are loved, always remember that. Again, happy birthday! I love you! We love you! Cheers for the birthday girl!

P.S
We demand for a treat! ;-)
