I am blessed. I am loved.

April 20, 2012. Friday. Absent again, pero Lucky day! :')

I thank the Lord for all the blessing He gave to me and to my loved ones. He has plans, and for sure His plans will always lead us to happiness. Good things come to those who wait and pray. And Lord, answered prayers na ko! :)))

April 20 was the schedule of our Baccalaureate mass, so graduating students have to wake up early to attend the mass wearing our uniform. That day was also the schedule of the distribution of Toga and invitations plus the batch picture taking. It was my first and last time to wear my new uniform. Hahaha! Masikip na sa tagal. :)

That day was also the announcement of honor graduates. And I'm happy that I'm one of the awardees! Cum Laude, baby! :D #Awkward Napa-thank you Lord na lang ako sa saya.

Just after the mass, we had the batch picture taking later in the afternoon. We're all excited to have a batch picture taking wearing our amoy-ipis na toga. HAHA!

*These photos are not the official batch picture. These are all from my classmates' camera.

YOW.

I can't find the right way to express how this special day turned out to be extraordinary special day. All i can say is that, today is one of the best days in my life. The sad part is, I forgot to bring my cam, so sorry for this wordy blog. Sarreeh! :) This one is a blog full of heart. Let's spread love and smiles, for the reason why we're all here is because of love. <3

I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
I'm lucky we're in love every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday
I spent this day with Kevin. This song was played and it keeps repeating on my mind until I reached home. I am indeed lucky that I am in love with my bestfriend. Yes, he is. He's my biggest fan, he's my best cheerer, he's my team mate, he's my other half, he's my all-in-one boyfriend. I am lucky that I have found a true love and a true friendship in him. I am lucky that I can be his friend and his girlfriend at the same time. I am lucky that we can share secrets with each other. I am lucky for I have someone who knows how to deal with my mood swings and flaws. And yes, I am indeed lucky that I have him.
We don't need to have a perfect relationship to stay longer. Love, friendship, understanding and openness, I guess,  is the key to attain not just longer relationship, but also stronger, tighter and better relationship. :)

#DearKevin,
Alam ko namang mababasa mo 'to. Hahaha! Thanks for this day. This is the perfect way to end our fourth year. Cheers to 5 years of love! Happy Fifth! More years, more love, better and stronger us! I love you!

Job Fair 2012

Just last April 12, 2012 (Thursday), LPU-Laguna held its annual Job Fair with the theme, "Building A Better Tomorrow, TODAY!"

It was my second time to be part of the job fair committee, but I wasn't able to give my 100% this year because of my work. Bawi lang po tayo pag walang work. :D

The preparations took more than a month. With more than 50 companies and sponsors, over 200 graduating students, Job Fair 2012 became a huge success. Big thanks to the people who supported us!

Yey! :D

Here the photos we had during the Job Fair. Credits to MyPartyRocks Photo booth for the pictures.

Buena mano sa Photo booth! :D

It is indeed a day well spent! Sulit sa pagod at init ng araw! :D

Happy Fiesta!

April 9, 2012. Monday. Town fiesta. Get together. Beach :D

Every year, it's our routine to visit Katrina's house every fiesta. Really, it became a routine. Haha! And just because it's a routine already, no need for text brigades or Facebook posts to invite each and every one of us. :D

Say hi to the sando girls este early birds pala. Taon-taon na lang palaging kaming una! Taon-taon na lang! Hahaha! :D

From L to R: Che, Alexis, Faith, Justine (me), Alexa, Krizia and Leomel

Krizia and kuya Anon.

Here's the funny thing about this kuya Anon. Feel na feel naman po talaga nya ang pagkanta. Go for the power duet palagi with Krizia. Lahat ng lovesong, birit kung birit!Very Ogie Alcasid ang peg! :D

Pero sila ang pambato namin sa best loveteam, lakas maka- Xian and Kim! :D These two always have this extra charm kahit kulitan lang. Cute fools! Hahaha!

:D
Also included in this fiesta-get together are Julie and Hibek, at si boyfriend pala. :) It's cute to see that after several years, we still find happiness in each other. We still talk about the most serious things and even the most stupid things. Cool, right? :) We're grown-ups yet kids at heart.

How to Build Trust in Relationships

Trust is the heart of all relationships, but it’s easy to damage, undermine or destroy. So what kinds of things can we do to build trust, so that people can feel safe, and be real, with us?
1. Be reliable – and do what you say: This is absolutely crucial for establishing trust. It’s a case where actions speak louder than words. Unless you’re hit by a truck or your house burns down do everything you can to follow through on your commitments. Even if it’s fairly minor, don’t cancel or postpone.
2. Don’t lie: It’s surprisingly easy to cover with a lie. It gets us out of trouble, or leaves us looking good. But if the lie is uncovered, even if it’s just a small thing, it smears our reputation … and leaves us looking bad.
3. Be willing to volunteer some extra information:It’s said that “those with nothing to hide, hide nothing”. Why not volunteer some extra information to put the other person completely at their ease. That helps prevent misunderstandings and can quieten their suspicions so they know that you’re a person who’s transparent and real.
4. Don’t omit important details from your story: You can really slant a story by missing out some facts. If you’re tempted to do that, then your goal is not “being honest”. And it will come back to haunt you when the truth is uncovered, and you’ll be framed as a liar and “someone NOT to trust”.
5. A secret … is a secret … is a secret: Don’t ever share what’s shared with you in confidence. Don’t allow yourself to gossip, even if it’s hard at times. A person who’s discreet is truly valued by others. You’ll have a stellar reputation and be seen as a true friend.
6. Be real about your feelings: Those who just share facts can come across as cold and distant – and it’s hard to trust a person who seems like a machine! But if you share your feelings, too, others feel you understand them, and you’ll seem like someone is genuine and real.
7. Be consistent in the way you act: This is related to predictability, stability, calm and reliability. For a person who’s consistent is a safe and loyal friend. You know what to expect as they’re always the same.
