Artsy province of Rizal

This is an overdue post.

Rizal is one of the Philippines first class provinces that belongs to CALABARZON (CA-vite, LA-guna, BA-tangas, R-izal, Que-ZON) Region or region IV-A in the island of Luzon. The province enjoys a natural beauty of nature and a perfect setting for investments, business establishments and settlements. It is bounded by Sierra Madre Mountain Ranges and Quezon Province in the east, the province Laguna in the soutwest, the province of Bulacan in the north, Metropolitan Manila in the west-northwest portion and by Laguna de Bay in south/south-western portion. Rizal is one of the neighboring provinces of Metro Manila. It takes an hour drive from major commercial districts and centers of Metropolis to reach the province's best places. Rizal is a green province which is the best place to unwind from crowded and polluted metropolis. (http://rizalprovince.ph/generalinformation.html)

I, together with my office mates were fortunate enough to have a day to explore the beautiful and artsy province of Rizal. This is work and fun rolled in one day! Saya! It's also a way of welcoming the summer season! We were able to visit Pinto Art Museum and Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage parish in Antipolo, Angono Petroglyphs, and the famous art museums of Botong Francisco and Blanco family. Let the photos below explain our artsy holiday in Rizal.

This is actually the point when I asked God, "Lord! Bakit hindi ako artistic na tao?! Maarte lang ako kasi! Kapos!" Hahaha! Nuff.

Among all the places we've visited, my favorite is Blanco's museum though they don't let let us take pictures. It's  just so amazing that all the family members are really into arts! And they are all good and excellent! Nakaka-proud lang talaga! Their halls are filled filled paintings starting from the parents and all their siblings! Maaaan, I am really so proud of them!

That was indeed an artsy Wednesday in Rizal! See! Kung maraming resorts at buko pie sa Laguna, lalaban ang Rizal in terms of Arts! Haha!

Munting Buhangin, Nasugbu Batangas

Pre-summer Getaway | February 8-9, 2014

Cuddle weather is over and I already feel the heat. Summer is fast approaching! Oh, my favorite season of the year!!!! As to start the summer season, let me share with you my pre-summer getaway with my beloved friends at the hidden paradise in Nasugbu Batangas - Munting Buhangin Beach Camp. 

We left Calamba around 10am last Saturday. From Calamba, we board on a van to Tagaytay. From Tagaytay, we get on a bus enroute to Nasugbu. It took us 4 hours to reach Nasugbu Batangas. Thanks to the beautiful picturesque of Taal volcano that all of us never got bored while on transit.

From the town proper of Nasugbu, we took a tricycle all the way to Munting Buhangin. This is a total adventure! The view, the ups and downs, left and right! Ah, solid!!!

The tree house at the beach front serves as our home. Perfect for our group! Luxurious living na nga e! Hahaha! The beach is so inviting that after we fix our things, we've decided na to swim and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Beautiful sunset! So perfect!

Since we’re on the beach, pasok ang senti moments! We always see each other but it’s very rare that we discuss serious sentiments about our lives. We've known each other for more than 5 years, but it seems like we've been friends for like forever. Pero ang dami pa ring revelations! Hahaha!

What we love about the staff of Munting Buhangin, the are so accommodating and very nice to all of their guests. We were treated as if we're VIPs. Just when they noticed that we're awake, they deliver us our breakfast. AGAD-AGAD! (Okay, yung mga kuyas lang ang mabait)

Overall, the experience is ecstatic! The beach and the people I am with, sobrang solid! Thank you friends for this super splendid getaway! The real summer adventure this coming April gets more exciting huh!
