When I saw this picture in Tumblr, I was like, "This is what I want when I get married!" And yes, that is exactly what I want! Isn't it romantic? I love fireworks!

13Jan2012. Friday the 13th (Malas daw sabi ng iba). Last day at Leo Burnett

It has been exactly 2 months and 19 days since we started working at Leo Burnett. Yea, we're just Interns, but they never make us feel that we're JUST interns.

The experience we had is something I will treasure. Aside from the learning that they taught me, the people I've worked with are the memories that will always be remembered. I am lucky that I was able to work with not just intelligent people, but also people with good heart, HUMANDKIND kumbaga :) They treat us as if 'we belong'.

They once told us that we're good. We do our task very well and we're efficient. We claim all those compliments. Who wouldn't like to be praised dabah? Pero on a serious note, we do our task well because we feel that they strongly believe and trust us. We feel that what they want is to let us experience the things that we have to experience, not just to make utos or whatever. We are efficient because they are also efficient in motivating us to work better. It is true that one will enjoy his/her work if he/she is happy on his/her working environment. And yes, I am HAPPY! :))

So on our last day:

Typical working day. We just had our lunch at Mom & Tina's Bakery Cafe, near Enterprise Center. They're super sweet because it's the first time that they treat they're interns. As I remember Ms. Tria's comment, "first time naming magpa-lunch out. That's how we love you so much."  :))

Pangako ko sa sarili ko na magtitipid ako ngayong linggo. Pero bakit ganito? Kung tukso ito, natutukso ako.

Pero wag mag-alala dahil wala akong binili kahit isa. Hahaha! Wala akong dalang bag that time, kaya swerte pa din. Haaay. Gusto ko na magka-trabaho. Ang sarap gumastos ng pera!

2011 has been a good year to me. Though I’ve encountered lots of problems throughout the year, I can say that 2011 is one of the best years in my life. And now that the year has finally ended, I’ll take this chance to reminisce all the wonderful memories that happened in the year 2011.

My family life has been in a roller coaster ride this 2011. My mom started working and I spend most of time in school. My dad, as usual, is a busy person. And my brother started to be busy in school. This year has been a very busy year for all of us. Things didn’t work out easily. At the last quarter of the year, my mom decided to stop working. Then, situations became normal again. I realized how important it is to have a mother at home. After all, being a mother is also a career. My family has always been strong. In times we need each other; we make sure that we’re always there to comfort one another. 2011 nga naman :D

Aside from my family, 2011 year has been a good year to me and Kevin. This year was our 4^th year together. So 2012 e 5^th na. Haha! Despite our busy schedules in school, still, we made time for each other. This year is the first time that I celebrated my birthday with him. Like any couples, we also had fights. We had ups and downs. We had sunny days and rainy days. But the end of this year, yea, we’re still together. This year is a proof that we’re growing in love with each other. Good thing we’re good friends and lovers. :)) Lord, give us more years, please!

Most of my times in 2011 were spent in school. Projects, school requirements, thesis, plus extracurricular activities and more. Lyceum seemed to be my second home. 2011 has been a good year in terms of my academic status. Narrating each of them will take so much of time and space, so let me enumerate them. #LetsDoThis!

• Thesis Pre-Oral and Final Defense, both Passed and with Minor Revisions :))
• Our group’s documentary entitled Gulpihan was shortlisted in PELIKULTURA: The CALABARZON Film Festival

• Gulpihan grabbed the awards for Best Scriptwriter (Nona Marielle Reyes), Best Director (Rendell Barrera and Justine Dador), and Best Documentary in this year’s CASFA.
• Our thesis final manuscripts were passed, finally!
• Student DJ at Radyo Natin 106.3
• List of the candidates for Graduation in April 12, 2012!

But despite being busy in school, I am thankful for the learning and experience that this year taught me. This year is the busiest year for me, so far! Aside from the acads-related activities in school, what I love about being in school is the extracurricular activities that I get involved.

The people I’ve been with in school also made my 2011 a very good year. Big thanks to CAS Pep 2011, my instructors, my classmates, my schoolmates, the people who helped us in our documentaries and movies. And many moooooooore!

Usapang school na rin lang, isama na natin ang internship. October this year, I started working as an intern in Leo Burnett Manila. This made me realized that I badly want to be in an advertising company. Yea, advertising, dude! :)  

I am thankful for all the good memories that happened in 2011. Despite the presence of those bad memories, still, I am thankful. I want to forget all the bad memories I’ve had, because I have many good things to remember. I have many blessings. I still have my family. I still have my Kevin. I still have my friends.

So 2012, please be good me. I am looking forward to spend my entire year with more blessings. I don’t care to whatever problems that will come throughout the year, as long as I still have my loved ones, I am ready. In this year:

• I will graduate (April 12, 2012)
• 5^th Anniversary
• Work and Salary! :))
• 21^st birthday
• Done it :))
