Walking Disaster

Spoiler alert: Here are some of the kilig-est lines of Travis Maddox. <3

“I was now in a situation where I didn’t have to prove myself, because the one person that fully accepted me, my best friend, was now a permanent fixture in my life.”

“You know why I want you? I didn’t know I was lost until you found me. I didn’t know what alone was until the first night I spent without you on my bed. You’re the one thing I’ve got right. You’re what I’ve been waiting for, Pigeon.”

“First of all… I have standards. I’ve never been with an ugly woman. Ever. Second of all, I wanted to sleep with you. I thought about throwing you over my couch fifty different ways, but I haven’t because I don’t see you that way anymore. It’s not that I’m not attracted to you, I just think you’re better than that.”
“At that morning, lying with the woman I loved, a silent promise was formed in my head. I was going to be a better man for her, someone she deserved. No more flying off the handle. No more temper tantrums, or violent outbursts." - Travis

Hands up to Jamie McGuire and her awesome brain cells for coming up something that every girl would wish to have – almost perfect love story. Not to mention the ideal bad boy / gentleman that all the readers will fall in love with. Err, how could a bad boy be a gentleman at the same time? Travis knows.

Walking Disaster is not a sequel of Beautiful Disaster. In BD, we get to imagine the whole picture through Abby’s views. Here on WD, the story focuses on Travis’ POV. Way too cool to understand the guy’s perspective in life. What he thinks on the inside, what drives him to fight for Abby, what he feels. This is actually kilig-ER compare to BD. Travis’ thoughts about everything about Abby stretches the smile on my face, everytime.  Pidge, you’re such a lucky girl!!!

Bad boys are usually not my type, but for Travis, I’ll give him the best of exemption! He’s over protective 101% more! Oh, Travis! You don’t know what you’re doing to me!!! Hahaha!

Okay, ako na talaga ang inlove sa mga fictional characters!

Good job, Jamie!

Shine Bright like a Diamond

April 25,2013 | Diamond 2008 | Southwinds Resort

First, lemme congratulate this year's newly graduates: Rochelle, Oliver, Leomel and Hibek! Good job guys, welcome to the real world! As to celebrate their im-not-a-student-anymore status, we've decided to stick to our annual get together every summer - swimming 101! Para tipid! Next time na pang-mayaman na bakasyon. Haha!

We've been friends for almost a decade and still, I feel that nothing really changed. Those stupid jokes and endless bullying are just some of the things I really enjoy whenever I'm with these people. They really are my brothers and sisters from another parents!

The very contoversial cake. Hahaha! Faith bought this one for this year's graduates. Unfortunately, they forgot to include Hibek's name on it. Poor Hibek! Don't you worry, when you pass the licensure exam, I'll buy you a cake with your solo name on it. Yun naman ay kung papasa ka. Hahaha! Kidding! I know you'll pass, dude!

Till next summer, Diamond!
