Little Miss @ SG

May 23-26, 2013 | Singapore & Malaysia|First timer, baby!

WARNING: Long post aheaaaaad!!!

Finally, after a week, I finally reserved this day to blog. I have been very busy at work these past few days so I haven’t got the chance to do so. So here I am, trying my best to make this entry as interesting as possible.

Exactly last week, I, together with my fellow Burnetters (LB employees) went to Singapore for our annual company trip. The perks of being employed, you gotta chance to go out of town or out of the country, with all expense paid! Love it!

Trivia: That’s actually my first time to ride a plane and go outside the country. Whoo! I’m always inlove with firsts!

Having said that that’s my first time in plane, I couldn’t help but to feel excited as we board in the plane and waited for it to take off. I wouldn’t mind being groggy because I’ve been sleepless for more than 48hours. Well I guess my plane experience goes to a separate entry. Haha!

We reached Changi Airport (Singapore Airport) around 9am. Upon arrival, we immediately start our on the spot itinerary and plan on where to go on our first day. Let the adventure begin!!!!

We first went to Ang Mo Kio to meet Ms. Babes’ friend. Instant tour guide, ayos! Haha! There, we started to explore the entire Ang Mo Kio and shop and shop and shop. Shopping at day 1 is good! Terribly good! I was able to buy lots of chocolates, perfumes and some shirts. It was late afternoon when we reached Orchard Hotel (our instant home in SG). After taking a bath, I join some of the co-workers to meet their friend, Ms. Riza,at Vivo City, sponsored Dinner, babbbbbyyyyy!!!! ‘Twas past 12 when we reached OH. Quota sa day 1!

What’s good in SG is that you’ll still feel safe wherever you are. People are actively awake and having parties or shopping even at night. Annnnd!!! Public transportation is good. The bullet train is the most accessible public means of transportation. Bullet kung bullet, ang bilis!

Let’s work it on Day 2!!!

We woke up as early as 6am to make our Day 2 more productive than day 1. We went to Lego Land Malaysia for our side trip. It’s a newly opened amusement park in Malaysia. A theme park made of legoooossssss!!!! Here are some of the pictures:

But just like what I’ve said, Day 2 is going to be more productive than day 1. After the tiring Lego Land experience, mother Riclets and I decided to relax for a while. So we spend some time to swim. O diba, hindi pwedeng petix, productive pa din dapat! :D After swimming, we had dinner and head to Marina Bay Sands.

Marina Bay Sands is an Integrated Resort fronting Marina Bay in Singapore. Developed by Las Vegas Sands, it is billed as the world's most expensive standalone casino property at S$8 billion, including cost of the prime land – MarinaBaySands.com

Wasn’t able to take a good shot from our cam, so forgive me for this googled photos. Dontchaworry, credits are mentioned. J

We also went to the main mall and visited the sky garden where we watched the water show at the bay. Damn, sky garden is such a romantic place to have a date. Sweet! From the garden, you can see the entire city. Lights are everywhere that makes it more romantic!

Day 3 is Universal Studios day!

I haven’t got the chance to try all the rides and show in Universal. USS is jam-packed that time, so falling in line is really time consuming. Good thing I was able to ride one of the most recommended rides, the Transformers Ride! Maaaaaan, the experience is really awesome!!!! Aside from the Transformers Ride, I also experienced their Jurassic Water Park. Coool!

After the Universal Studios visit, we also explore Sentosa and Resorts World. Right after the company dinner, we headed to Lucky Plaza for the last minute shopping. Quota na talaga!!!

The following day, lunch time was my scheduled flight back to Philippines. Oh, how I miss home!

The total experience is fun and tiring. But I enjoyed a lot! Another experience comes with new memories. Another first and more firsts to go! The next time I’ll be back to SG, I wanted it to be with my family, friends or Kevin. I still have lots of places to visit. It’ll be the best when I’m with my loved ones.
