WARNING! THIS IS A LONG ENTRY.
I personally believe that money can’t buy real happiness. I
worked hard (okay, not so hard) to support my daily needs and to tolerate my
selfish unnecessary expenses, but that doesn’t give me the satisfaction and
contentment in life. A part of me envy those people who have luxury of time to
do the activities they wanted to do, like reading, hanging out with friends,
staying late just to watch their favorite TV shows, going on a date with loved
ones, or even sleeping. (Though I don’t have any regrets on what God blessed me
to have) And to those people who have to work 8hours or more just like me in
everyday of their lives, a long weekend is something we always look forward.
Happiness that money can’t buy. So, as I have my long weekend, this is how my
rest days turned out to be a blast!
Friday | Christian Grey
I spent my first rest day reading Fifty Shades Darker. I’m
in the book 2, and I’m hook by the way El James gives life to Christian Grey. I
can’t resist not to read the book because it gets more exciting as you read one
chapter to another. I’m not yet finish reading book 2 because I have to spend
the night at Maligaya’s residence for tomorrow’s activity.
Saturday | SponsoRun Mo 2 Fun Run
Just after the tiring fun run activity, we went to SM
Calamba to watch a movie. Can’t believe we still have the energy for a movie
date. We watched This Guy’s in Love With You Mare, a rom-com movie that gave me
so much expectations. In a scale of 10, I gave a 5, not so high, not so low.
Just right. (Okay, so much of being a movie critic) :-)
Our souvenir! |
After the movie date, and my dates went home, I came to meet
my mom and treat her for merienda. Kwento here and there. I’m so proud that I
still have the energy! Whew!
Do you think that’s the end of my day? Nah. Nah.
After our guy friends left us, I and the rest of the girls
went to our house to chit chat. The never ending bonding. Alexa and Rochelle decided to stay over the
night while Nona, Krizia, and Faith decided to go home.
Che, Alexa and I watched movie and stayed awake until 3am.
And yes, finally, I called it a day.
Sunday | A Secret Affair
A boring Sunday welcomes us, so as we wanted to make the
most of my last rest day, we decided to watch Anne Curtis’ film, A Secret
Affair. Actually, there’s a story behind our decision to watch the movie. Let’s
just say that the showing of the movie is very timely, right Rochelle? Just
kidding. Rochelle along with Archelle join us in watching ASA.
So here goes the movie critic again. :-) In a scale of 10, I
gave the movie a score of 8. As I expect that this one is going to be another
No-Other-Woman type of movie, it gives me a leap that this is way different
from N.O.W. The camera techniques that were used, the script, the actors and
even the concept deserve an 8-point score. Good job! The lines are cuteee and
of course, Anne is exceptional.
"Yun nga yung sayang eh. I know the love is there pero wala na yung trust. And as much as I would like to fix this, the damage has been done."
And tada, that’s how I spent my long weekend! Superb isn’t it? Can’t wait for another long weekend in the next 3 days! Yeyyyy!
