"I don't love her okay? I just miss her when she's not around, think her all the time and I imagine us running towards each other in slow motion and I'm wearing a brown Suede vest."
- How can you be so sweet and cool at the same time? Oh,Barney!

Of Wedding and lots of Catching Up
July 28,
2013 | Sunday | Sancebuche-Canario Nuptial
Time flies so
fast. There comes phase in our lives that needs to be treated with seriousness
and maturity. Maturity that demands responsibility and lifelong commitment. And
for what reason? Love.
One of my
college friends, Joy-Ann, and his partner MJ, started their lifelong commitment
to one another as they exchanged their vows in front of God and their loved
ones, last Sunday, July 28, 2013. She’s the first one who got married in our
batch and we are so excited and happy for her. She’s now a certified nanay to
baby Ian and a newly misis to MJ! At this point, let me greet you Tapang.
Congratulations!
We’re all in
tears as she walks in the aisle. She looks so beautiful in her gown and her
smile gives her glow in every glance. She was able to hold the tears from
falling in her eyes.
Here are
some of the photos during the wedding:
To Mr. &
Mrs. Canario, congratulations! You have found one another and I pray that
you’ll love each other more and more as each day passes by. Good luck and stay
happy as you now have baby Ian! J
Now let’s
talk about hitting-two-birds-with-one-stone. Aside from the Sancebuche-Canario
Wedding, they also welcome their son; baby Ian, to the Christian world. What a
beautiful family! That’s all I can say. Baby Ian is so charming and looks so
sweet. I’m excited to see him grow and play with baby Ipe. Wow, our Abakom2012
family is growing! We have now 3 babies in addition to the family. One is Nikko
(Ate Nikki’s son), Ipe (Yvonne’s son) and now, the newest member, Ian (Joysie’s
son). More boys, more fun!
After the
wedding reception? What’s next? (I can read your minds…) YES! The After Party!
We still feel that the time we spent is not enough to suffice all chismis and
laughter that we stored for a long time. Ang drama! We headed to a coffee shop
to continue our never ending chismisan! Okay, and picturan too!

This wedding
made me realize that:
- Yes, I’m 22 and in less than a decade, I’ll be seeing myself
walking in the aisle wearing a long white gown. Ngayon pa lang, nagfi-freak-out
na ko! Hahaha! Wedding is such a stressful event, a more stressful for the
bride!
- It’s not just me. Sooner or later, my friends will get
married and build a family of their own. Parang ang bilis! One wedding down,
more to follow! Hehehe.
- Girls do believe in fairy tales. Hahaha! It’s funny that we,
even Nona, started to imagine what will be our wedding like. We’re starting to
plan on the motif and even on the type of wedding gown. Even they don’t have
their prospective grooms yet. Haha!
- Motto of the 20+ people like us: YOLO na lang muna! Haha!
That despite having those realizations, you’ll come back to the present and
makes you think that at this point of your life, in which you are in between of
enjoying the peak of your youth and building a strong foundation for your
future – having a wise decision matters. So if you’re still unsure of what you
really want, YOLO na lang muna. J
* Thanks to Monica Mangalino for the photos

Milo Marathon @ San Pablo City - Photodiary
July 21,2013 | San Pablo City
37th National Milo Marathon San Pablo City Elimination Race |
Meet the runners: Kreng, Monica, Jonas, DJ, Uzelle and Me! |
I was not able to enjoy this run because of the crowded streets full of runners. Some are walking and some are busy having their selfies while running and that interrupts those who wanted to have the full running experience like me and my friends. I guess the problem would be, 1. The streets are too narrow and 2. There are numerous runners at that time. Well, anyway, my friends and I were still able to get the fun out of walking, este, running. We're so babaw that we find joy listening the rants of some students who are required to join. Hehehe.
DJ together with his friends |
The finish line! I was able to finish the run by 59:36:00. Minus the minutes we spent on waiting because I'm on the last batch of runners. Hahaha! |
My girls while waiting for our brekky |
5K finishers! Cheers! |
Thoughts to fonder:
1. Provide baggage areas for ALL runners.
2. Real runners will run. Need not to required students.
3. Great things happen in the middle of chaos. :-)
4. Run for yourself and for others.
Extra photos:
Coffee anyone? Hahaha! |
Prinsesang nakaupo sa tasa! Literal maaaan!!!! |

Raise your glasses, July Babies!
July 14,2013 | Sunday | Satera's Crib
I mentioned in my previous blog that aside from April and December, July is also one of my favorite months. Well, one good reason is because it's Papa and I's birth month. But aside from us, four (4) of my college buddies also celebrate their birthdays on July. See? More birthdays, more fun!
Since July has the most number of celebrators (fyi not celebrants), we planned to have this huge birthday bash for all of us - 5 birthdays in 1 celebration. But with lack of budget and time, instead of putting up a grand party the way we planned, we decided to just have a simple house party. But what makes this simple house party an extraordinary one? Pictures below will explain:

Pictures below will explain:
JAM (Jerome, Ago and Maricris) created the whole set-up for this cool party. They posted our annoying-not-so-good photos as display. |
Ago has this habit of creating something out of simple craft. Like these mallows. :-) |
Our cake. DYI-ing baby! |
To Jerome and the rest of Satera's clan, thank you for you guys always welcome us in your home. Thank you!!!!
They decorated the house as if we're celebrating the birthday of a toddler. Hahaha! Name all the chocolates! and chips!!!!! I am really touched by the efforts given by everybody to make this birthday celebration a happy and unforgettable one.
The celebrators - Jonas, Paul, Nona and me. And oh, tagal ng wifi, si Yvonne pa! :D |
We also have games! This one is the Hashtag game in which the one with the most number of hashtag will get a prize. Wanna know what the prize is? McDo Chicken Sandwich! |
With all my heart, thank you guys! You just made OUR birthdays simple and extraordinary. More house party, okay? I've been living in a sweet and spicy life all because of you!
HERE is the link of us singing Happy Birthday. Hahaha!
'Till next July guys!
