This is my
fourth run, my third under 5k, my second run in Nuvali and my first for 2013.
Let me share you one of the best experience in fun run that I will probably not
forget. This is the best run, so far!
Just this
afternoon, the seven (7) of us: I, Maricris, Jerome, Jonas, Joanah, Monica and
Aileen, joined the SMART Live More Run at Nuvali. Before everything else, let
us congratulate Jerome and Aileen for that was their first time to join in a
fun run. 5k agad! Whoo!
At the start
of the run, we are all wearing a white shirt, which symbolizes cleanliness huh.
As the run started, colored powders were thrown on us. I mean tsunami of colors
were thrown on us. As we run, white shirts are no longer white. Colored powders
differ per station. We started with violet, and then on the second station,
green powders were thrown on us. Despite the ‘the-powder-doesn’t-tastes-good’
feeling, we still enjoy the moment that we let the marshals throw us colored
powders that make us look like a candy. Orange powders welcome us on the third
station, ponkan na ponkan!. Pink and Yellow colored powders for the fourth and
fifth stations, respectively. Pink
powders made all of us a Nikki Minaj. Haha! Blue colored powders embraces us
and congratulate us as that serves as the end of the run. We are all laughing
to death as we make fun of ourselves. Our faces in different colors, our
colorful shirts and how messy our hair becomes. We are like Dennis Rodman on
that day. Hahaha! I Nobody looks clean after the run, but I can say that
everybody has a smile on their faces when they finished the 5k run.
After the
run, SMART continues to live more with a concert. We’re in front of the stage
and it gives us the privilege to enjoy the concert more. Derek Ramsey sets the
mood of the crowd. Sya na talaga! Spongecola and Taken by Cars are the guest
performers. Colors are still everywhere during the concert. That was hell of an
awesome experience! EPIC!! Krengy, had a chance to sing with Yael. Yea, this
night is for her. Haha!
After
Spongecola’s performance, we clean ourselves and headed to Paseo to have
dinner.
I personally
didn’t get tired of the run. I had FUN! The experience is really beyond
awesome! Colors are everywhere, making us to realize how colorful our lives
are. That we are the ones who created our lives, that our happiness is in our
hands. Life offers variations of colors, live with it, explore, and have fun.
